Weather & coast
Pack for Florida, respect the water.
Silver Point Bay has a humid subtropical coastal climate. Summers are hot, humid and stormy, with common afternoon thunderstorms. Winters are generally mild. Hurricane season is taken seriously, and visitors should follow local emergency guidance whenever severe weather threatens.
Beach reminder: Turtle Run is a protected nesting area with limited lighting. Respect posted wildlife guidance and never disturb marked nests or wildlife.
